Our bylaws

The association aims to raise awareness in society of the importance of labor and the growth of functioning ecosystems, and to mobilize the resources needed to implement practical measures. This involves promoting the idea of pronaturation with the overarching goal of preserving and promoting sustainable habitats for all organisms on Earth, supported by ecosystems that are as bioproductive, diverse, and functional as possible. The aim is to create a landscape that is as green, moist, and cool as possible.

The institute is committed to science-based work based on the principles and teachings of systems theory, systems ecology, and thermodynamics. Nature conservation and ecosystem management are addressed, researched, and supported as the basis for overall economic development. The association promotes the idea of econics, i.e., learning from nature’s economy for sustainable and socioecological management of nature. It is therefore committed to recording, documenting, and monitoring human impacts on ecosystems and reporting on them appropriately.

The association is committed to the protection and development of all ecosystems, but focuses in particular on forest ecosystems. The further development and promotion of socioecological forest management is a key task. This applies in particular to academic and non-academic education.
